After a rebranding and positioning, Perkins & Co was looking for a new brochure to recruit college students. The goal was to differentiate the company from the other local and national firms while speaking directly to the recruits about the areas that mattered to them. In particular, we wanted to highlight what the brand exploration had revealed – pride in our profession and pride in Perkins.
The end results were two-fold. First, we had great feedback and reaction from the college students. The first month, we have had eight new college hires and also confirmed seven new hires for later dates and two summer interns.
But the bonus was the response to the recruiting campaign from our own staff. Reinforcing their pride made it swell. This made recruiting even more effective since they were in front of a message they truly believe in. In addition, due to the excellent response, we also created a new company ad campaign with similar messaging – Brag About Your Accountant.
